Founded in January 2023, started operation on May 19th 2023, Villa Physio operates as an outpatient physical therapy rehabilitation center in Karen, Kenya. The rehabilitation center provides preventative and post-operative care for a variety of orthopedic-related disorders and sports-related injuries, treatment for neurologically-related injuries, pelvic floor conditions, pediatric and geriatric physiotherapy and hydrotherapy services.
Founding Story:
Dr.Vincent Osundwa ,CEO/FOUNDER, a medical practitioner and physician, founded Villa Physio with a vision to transform physiotherapy service delivery.Despite his background in medicine, Doctor Osundwa was driven to
open a physiotherapy clinic to provide top tier physiotherapy services
where you walk with patients step by step through their recovery
journey.
His deep understanding of the challenges faced by patients in accessing
quality healthcare motivated him to create a center that would provide
innovative solutions to improve physiotherapy outcomes.
With a personal experience of his wife, Co-director Beatrice Osundwa, who
struggled to find satisfactory physiotherapy services, further fueled his
commitment to establishing Villa Physio. Beatrice’s journey called
attention to the gaps in the availability of effective physiotherapy
services, inspiring Doctor Osundwa to ensure that Villa Physio would
offer the highest standards of care to all patients.
